The owner of a Golden Retriever has created a 'dog ball library' at a Dawesville beach in memory of their beloved boy who tragically passed away.
Taco was just five-years-old when he died after ingesting a 1080 bait that had been dropped into his yard.
His owner Jules van Jay said Taco loved the beach more than anything and his favourite thing to do was chase balls.
In memory of Taco, his family has built a 'ball library' at Melros Beach in the hope it will bring joy to other dogs in the neighbourhood.

"My name is Taco. I loved the beach more than anything — the salty air, sandy paws, wagging tails and most of all...BALLS," the poster on the library box read.
"Tennis balls, squeaky balls, slobbery balls. I never met a ball I didn't love.
"Now I've crossed the rainbow bridge, but I had a thought before I left.
"No dog should ever stand at the beach without a ball, so I'm sharing mine."
The balls are free for anyone to use but pet owners are asked to return them at the end of their walk for another dog to enjoy.
