 
                                    A 55-year-old Shoalwater man has been charged after allegedly sending packages and letters containing faeces and dead mice to a number of government agencies.
It's alleged between August and December 2021, the man sent 28 items via Australia Post to various agencies including the Rockingham Police Station, the Fines Enforcement Registry, Police Headquarters and the Office of the Minister for Police.
On December 14, police, with the help of TRG officers, raided the man's Shoalwater home.
They found a hydroponic cannabis setup with various plants and seedlings and two gel blasters.
The man has been charged with 28 counts of endangering the life, health or safety of a person, cultivating a prohibited plant with intent to sell or supply, possession of prohibited drugs, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
