A driver has been charged over a rampage through Mandurah's Smart Street Mall.
It's alleged the 29-year-old man was driving a Mitsubishi Triton ute when he ploughed through construction fences and into a rubbish truck around 5am on Saturday.
Despite extensive damage to the vehicle the man allegedly continued driving along Mandurah Terrace.
The ute was eventually found in the Stewart Street beach carpark.
The driver, from Beckenham, was taken to Peel Health Campus for assessment.
He has since been charged with reckless driving, exceeding 0.05g alcohol per 100ml of blood and failing to stop - property damage.
The man will appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on June 23.
