WA Police have confirmed one of their own has died in hospital days after a serious crash in Hopeland.
The 54-year-old female officer was driving to work around 8.30pm on Thursday, May 7, when her Mazda 3 and a Holden Commodore collided at the intersection of Hopeland Road and Karnup Road.
The officer suffered critical injuries and was rushed to hospital.
Sadly, police confirmed on Tuesday she has since passed away.
The driver of the Commodore, a 63-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries in the crash.
