Police have arrested a 25-year-old woman following a police chase through Mandurah overnight.
Detectives allegedly spotted the woman driving a Holden Commodore sedan through the rear car park of a Silver Sands supermarket around 9.30pm on Sunday, February 23.
She allegedly failed to stop for officers and accelerated away, driving recklessly and at speed through several streets across Mandurah, Halls Head and Falcon.
The woman then allegedly abandoned the car on Old Coast Road after it ran out of fuel.
She allegedly fled on foot but was arrested a short distance away.
The woman from Busselton has been charged with failing to stop, reckless driving to escape pursuit, stealing, unlawful possession, possession of a prohibited drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled weapon (OC spray).
She is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
