Sex Assault Squad detectives are investigating the sexual assault of a woman in Golden Bay.
Police say an unknown man, who was armed with a knife, entered the woman’s home on Thunderlarra Drive sometime between 12.30am and 1.30am on Sunday, August 23.
He confronted the woman and sexually assaulted her before fleeing.
The man is described as having fair skin with a muscular build and approximately 175cms tall. He was wearing a black balaclava, jeans and a red jacket.
Detectives urge anyone who saw any suspicious person, has CCTV or dash-cam vision of the area between 12.30am and 2.30am to come forward.
