‘Mushroom 50 Live’ aired on Channel 7 on Sunday night, where many Aussie artists from across multiple generations gathered to celebrate 50 years of Mushroom records with a huge concert at Rod Laver Arena. It was a who’s who of the Aussie Music Industry, with the careers of many artists launched by the late Michael Gudinski – the godfather of Aussie Music.

Jimmy Barnes opened the show with a few classics, including this Working Class Man. Cold Chisel bandmate, Ian Moss also performed.
Goanna gave a solid performance along with 80s pop band Machinations and Vicka & Linda Bull covered a Skyhooks classic.

Other artists who performed included Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins, Diesel, Kate Ceberano, Amy Shark, Christine Anu, Budjerah, and many more… Plus, international artists Sam Smith performed Forever Young with Youth Group - and Ed Sheeran patched in from London, joining Mark Seymour with Throw Your Arms Around Me.

If you missed it, you can catch the concert on 7Plus.
