Another Day – and other awards ceremony done – this time it was The Emmys which took place yesterday at the Peacock Theatre in L.A.
The first presenter of the night was Christina Applegate – who made a rare appearance since being diagnosed with MS.

She received a standing ovation and in true Christina style, used comedy to deflect.

Succession and The Bear took home the most awards, both picking up six Emmys, with Succession taking home Best Drama and The Bear winning Best Comedy.

Beef took home 5 Emmys including Best Limited Series, Steve Yeun won Best Actor in a Limited Series, and Ali Wong for Best Actress in a Limited Series – and Bill Hader gave her a celebratory smooch which solidified those dating rumours!

Sarah Snook has done Australia proud and has won a Golden Globe, a Critics Choice Award and now an Emmy for Best Actress for her role in Succession and her co-star Keiran Culkin also took out Best Actor – and used the platform to ask his wife to expand their family.

Jennifer Coolidge took out Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in White Lotus 2, and as usual, her acceptance speech didn’t disappoint.

And Elton John joined the elite EGOT club becoming the 19th person to win an Emmy, a Golden Globe, an Oscar, and a Tony.
He won the Emmy for his ‘Farewell from Dodger Stadium’ Special.

And the full trailer for Adam Sandler’s Netflix space drama – Spaceman has dropped.

Also starring Carey Mulligan and Paul Dano Spaceman is out on Netflix March 1.
