  • Terry Kath, lead guitarist/vocalist with the band Chicago, died aged 31, after accidentally shooting himself in 1978.
  • Friends' final episode was taped in US in 2004.
  • The Bulletin was published in Australia for the final time after 1237 years in 2008.
  • Adeles album 21 spent its 26th week at No 1 ont he Australian album chart, beating john Farnham's record of 25 weeks with Whispering Jack in 2012.
  • Larry King, US TV and radio talk show host, died aged 87 in 2021.
