A driver has been taken to hospital after a crash in Halls Head.
Police say the man was driving a Holden Commodore station wagon around 5pm on Thursday when it smashed into a tree on Condor Mews near McLarty Road.
The driver aged in his 40s became trapped in the wreckage and had to be extracted by firefighters.
He suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Two passengers were not injured.
Meanwhile, a woman in her 30s was taken to hospital after a separate crash in Safety Bay.
Around 11.15pm on Thursday, the woman was driving a Holden Captiva along Donald Drive when she also crashed into a tree.
She was taken to hospital for treatment.
