Police are hunting a group of youths after they bashed an elderly man in Greenfields.
The man, aged in his 80s, was assaulted by the three youths who attempted to steal his moped around 5.30pm on Saturday.
He received a large cut to his head and bruising to his face and body and was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
