WA's lockdown exercise rule has been amended allowing families with multiple children to exercise together.
The original rule allowed only two people from the same household to leave their home to exercise.
But parents with more than one child found the rule impractical, especially those with babies and toddlers.
Under the amended rule, a maximum of five people (two adults and three children or one adult and four children) from the same household can now exercise together within five kilometres of their home for a maximum of one hour.
Masks must be worn at all times for people aged 12 and over.
The lockdown order is in place for Perth, Peel and South West residents until 6pm on Friday, February 5.
