A Baldivis school is set to play host to a raft of Fringe World Festival shows on February 3 and 4.

Believed to be a first for the Baldivis area, Tranby College will be offering two student performances, 'Class Act' and 'Spotlight' along with a diverse array of professional independent performances including comedy, circus, drag and cabaret.

"My aim was to bring arts into the community a little bit more so I'm so excited to provide a little bit of that access for everyone,"  Tranby College drama teacher Erin Hutchinson said.

Events will be running between 3.45pm and 10.30pm on both days at the school's Chapel Theatre, College Lounge and Twilight Lawn.

The Twilight Lawn is a BYO venue, with locals encouraged to bring along snacks, while hot snacks, burgers, ice cream and coffee will be available via food trucks.

Ms Hutchinson, who is no stranger to Fringe World, having performed in and produced numerous shows at the festival since 2014, said there is a show for everyone.

"I think the best way to tackle Fringe is to come along and pick something that you're keen on, pick something that you're unsure about and try something new," she said.

"'Fringe binge' would be my favourite phrase especially since we're only doing it for two days...pick a few for the night you are going to come along or come along to both days."

Tickets are available via the Fringe World website.
