A man has been shot by police in Waikiki.
Officers were called to a house on Mends Way around 2.45pm on Sunday after reports of a possible disturbance.
"While responding to the situation a police firearm was discharged, and a man received gunshot wounds to one of his arms," a WA Police spokesperson said.
St John Ambulance paramedics provided emergency first aid before taking the man to Royal Perth Hospital.
He remains in a stable condition.
Major Crime and the Internal Affairs Unit is investigating.
