A marine search for a 33-year-old man is underway, after he fell overboard from his sailing yacht in Cockburn Sound on Friday afternoon.
It is believed the man was trying to retrieve a tender which had drifted from the boat.
Emergency crews began the search between Woodman Point and Garden Island yesterday afternoon, but the severe weather hindered their efforts.
The search has continued this morning involving Water Police, DFES Volunteer Marine Rescue, Port Authority vessels and Police rescue helicopters.
There were two other people on board who are now onshore and are safe and well.
